چکیده
The present study was carried out to determine the relationship between physiological characteristics with grain yield (GY) in barley cultivars. In this study, significant differences were found varieties (p ≤ 0.01 or p 0.05) all characteristics, except GS77 (late milk formation) period Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). While Erciyes, Çatalhüyük, Asutay and Aydanhanım cultivars high yielding, Bozlak determined be both yielding most stable variety. correlation analysis, a positive GY NDVI GS83 (early dough (r = 0.298*) GS85 (dough 0.366**) periods. GGE (genotype, genotype × environment) biplot model, visually presented negative canopy temperature (CT) GY. It concluded that selection of genotypes biomass, flag leaf chlorophyll content, low at same time is important. Bangladesh J. Bot. 51(4): 737-745, 2022 (December)

Effect of Agronomic Practices on Growth, Grain Yield, Malt Yield Losses of Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)
A field experiment was conducted during 2006-07 and 2007-08 at Ludhiana to study the effect of different agronomic practices on growth, grain yield, malt yield and losses of malt barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).The study revealed that plant height, dry matter accumulation, grain and straw yield were statistically at par with different method of sowing during both the years. Similar trend was also o...
متن کاملComparative Proteomic Analysis of Two Barley Cultivars (Hordeum vulgare L.) with Contrasting Grain Protein Content
Grain protein contents (GPCs) of barley seeds are significantly different between feed and malting barley cultivars. However, there is still no insight into the proteomic analysis of seed proteins between feed and malting barley cultivars. Also, the genetic control of barley GPC is still unclear. GPCs were measured between mature grains of Yangsimai 3 and Naso Nijo. A proteome profiling of diff...
متن کاملLysine Catabolism in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).
Lysine catabolism in seedlings of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. var. Emir) was studied by direct injection of the following tracers into the endosperm of the seedlings: aspartic acid-3-(14)C, 2-aminoadipic acid-1-(14)C, saccharopine-(14)C, 2,6-diaminopimelic acid-1-(7)-(14)C, and lysine-1-(14)C. Labeled saccharopine was formed only after the administration of either labeled 2,6-diaminopimelic acid...
متن کاملAllelopathic Plants. 19. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L)
Barley is integrated with other crops to inhibit weed growth, through allelopathic interactions. Effects of barley on growth of other crops, weeds and autotoxicity among cultivars result primarily from allelopathy mediated by allelochemicals released from plant components and/or exuded from living roots. A limited number of allelochemicals are identified that contributes to allelopathic effecti...

In order to study the effects of supplementary irrigation and biofertilizers on grain yield, dry matter remobilization and some physiological traits of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) under rainfed condition, a factorial experiment was conducted based on randomized complete block design with three replications at in 2017. Factors included irrigation at three levels (no irrigation as rainfed (I1), s...
